GT or Teddy is the sire of multiple champion Shetland ponies with his own superb track record in the show ring. Late to the show scene, he has more than made up for the late start. He is a big moving pony who covers the ground with a long stride and plenty of impulsion.

In 2022 we rebroke 42" Teddy for ridden work and gave ourselves a year to see what we could do as a team with young BSPS Scottish Rider of the Year 2022, Aaliyah Watson.

Our first full ridden season in 2023 was a success. An adventure we shall never forget - he had done five shows that year prior to qualifying for the Horse of the Year Show at the 2023 Shetland Breed Show in the Black Isle.

It was a big ask of a novice, 15-year-old stallion to go to HOYS and perform, but perform they did, and Aaliyah steered Teddy to the win - their last show together. Teddy has now retired from the ridden ring as we cannot top his HOYS result and he owes me nothing.

At home he is an utter gentleman and lives with his mares and foals in peace, stepping out to the odd show in hand and proving what a versatile and stunning stamp of a Shetland he is - qualities he passes to his foals.

Shetland Breed Show 2023 - HOYS Open Ridden Shetland 1st, Champion Ridden Shetland.

Turriff Show 2023 - 1st Standard Stallion, 1st Coloured Pony, 3rd Ridden Shetland, Champion Standard Shetland.

NPS Scotland Spring Show 2023 - Reserve Intermediate M&M Ridden Champion, 1st Intermediate and Open Ridden Small M&M.

NPS Summer Championships 2023 - 3rd HOYS Open Ridden Shetland, 2nd Peasedown DES Final, 8th Open Ridden DES Final.

Central & West Fife Show 2023 - Reserve Champion Ridden M&M.

Scottish Shetland Pony Championship Show 2021 - Overall Reserve Supreme of Show.

Highland Showcase 2021 - 3rd Standard Stallion.
